Job Responsibilities:
As a Sales Director, your primary responsibility will be to drive the growth of membership sales across our three gym locations. This involves maintaining an effective sales team at each location by hiring, training, and mentoring staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and reporting sales metrics to company leadership. Occasionally, you will engage in sales activities on the floor, connecting with clients and providing light customer service.
Service Range & Travel:
Freedom in Motion has three locations in the Inland Empire of California. Our locations are located in the following cities: Riverside, Loma Linda, and Murrieta. It is essential for the sales director to visit each location several times each month to provide in person training and quality assurance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Develop a high-performing sales team staff at each gym location.
- Achieve a high sales velocity at each of our gyms (Aiming for 40 new members a month)
- Your team feels well-led, enjoys their workplace, and finds your leadership effective.
Team Leadership:
You will lead a sales team across our Murrieta, Riverside, and Loma Linda locations. Currently, our team has some vacancies and we need help hiring. Empathy and kindness are essential qualities for leading and motivating a team that interacts with clients, primarily children and parents.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience. (Training others to achieve)
- Experience in face-to-face selling with a focus on negotiation. (Not just retail counter sales)
- Expereince with data reporting and spreadsheets.
- Fitness or childcare industry experience is a plus but not required.
Sales Strategy:
You will contribute to our three-step sales strategy, involving lead outreach, trial class bookings, and membership enrollment. Training and improving the team's proficiency in each step will be a key focus.
Compensation
Compensation is heavily weighted to the results you generate for the gym in the form of an increasing membership base.
Base salary: $50K/ year If the gyms are to maintain their current number of EFT memberships (automatically paying, Electronic funds transfer)
Possible salary when achieved bonuses: $110,000 / year
Quarterly bonuses are given:
If 300 members per gym: +$5,000
If 350 members per gym: +$10,000
If 400 members per gym: +$15,000
(Bonuses do not stack. )
