Summary: The Information Technology Manager is a subject matter expert and is responsible for supporting the internal IT infrastructure working closely with outside vendors, employees, and management to ensure efficient operations and effective security controls. We’re looking for a responsive, highly productive professional who can advise and lead IT focused projects to proactively address infrastructure, system, and process needs. Take lead in supporting enterprise application platforms across the company ensuring stability, security, integration, and adoption.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
Responsibilities:
- Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
- Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
- Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
- Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
- Managing information technology and computer systems
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations including but not limited to ERP data, email, file storage, server operation, networking devices and workstations.
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
- Ensure security of data, network access, physical access, updates, and backup systems
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
- Maintain, secure, and improve wifi, networking, firewall and other IT related equipment.
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
- Handle budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
- Maintain relationship with vendors and maintain their efficiency.

- End User Training for onboarding, new software, and other needs as they arise.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibility.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds; ability to sit for 80% of the day; ability to stand for long periods of time as needed.
Mental Requirements: Ability to focus for extensive period of time on data, letter writing and other administrative duties. Requires mental acuity and the ability to interact with team members and management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
