Huitt-Zollars' Phoenix, AZ office has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Civil Engineer in Urban Development. This full-time role requires solid urban development design experience and Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) license and registration. This is a great opportunity for an Arizona-registered PE with five (5) or more years of experience who enjoys working on a variety of civil engineering projects and clients. Huitt-Zollars has been providing professional services in the Phoenix area since 1984 providing services to both public and private clients.
Requirements:
- Assist with general project correspondence

Produce design and construction drawings using information from supervisor, research data, and input from consultants

Research materials and assemblies to incorporate into design and construction drawings as directed by supervisor

Prepare graphic materials for presentations and documents
-
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from accredited University

Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, bluebeam

Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
-
Ability to prepare civil engineering documents and specifications for projects
-
Ability to read redlines and modify drawings accurately
-
Ability to design printed and digital documents
-
Produce design and construction drawings using information from supervisor, research data, and input from consultants
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
-
5+ years of industry experience
-
Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel and personal computer

Capability to utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D on civil engineering projects

Strong organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal and virtual communication skills

Ability to mentor and train junior staff
