About the role
As a Heat Treat Operator, You Will:
- Heat treat production parts using heat treating equipment
- Read work orders to determine processing sequences for objects to be heat-treated.
- Record times that parts are removed from furnaces to document that objects have attained specified temperatures for specified times.
- Adjust controls to maintain temperatures and heating times, using thermal instruments and charts, dials and gauges of furnaces, and color of stock in furnaces to make setting determinations.
- Maintains equipment and Heat Treat area according to guidelines.
- Operates all equipment within the department

· If you have bad knees or a bad back this is probably not the job for you.
· Be able to regularly lift up to 50lbs.
· Be reliable – if you cannot show up for work when scheduled this job is NOT for you.

Salary: $20 - $25 per hour, $1 increase after successfully completing 90 days.
