alth Technicians are responsible for the health, safety, and well-being of the clients. Provide direct care service and support to the clients in meeting their basic personal needs.
This may include:
-Prompting with personal hygiene
-Assistance in the self-administration of medication
-Meal time preparation
-Chores.
Provide support and transportation to the clients as they integrate into the community.
This includes community functions such as:
-shopping, outdoor recreation, groups and other activities in the Community.
Educate clients related to independent living skills and activities of daily living, goal setting, budgeting, vocational skills, wellness, and social and recreational activities, etc. either individually or in a group setting.
Provide support to the Program Director and Direct Care Staff as needed to maximize coordination of care and creating effective treatment plans.
Modeling appropriate social behavior and positive use of free time with recreational activity both in the home and the community. Ensure that the clients comply with house rules, treatment plans which include personalized goals, appropriate interpersonal relationships, and fire and safety protocols.
Following the program guidelines and protocols, implement day-to-day structure which may include redirection, and verbal intervention where applicable. Submit significant and routine paperwork such as progress notes, incident reports, medication logs, Staff change reports, maintenance requests, etc. as required by the program. Attention to detail is important for these clinical records.
Prepare or supervise meal preparation according to the pre-established menu and client abilities and perform household duties as needed.
Other duties as assigned by shift. (Residential locations).Provide coordination of care with behavioral health and medical providers as needed by the Program Director, which can include transportation to physician appointments, Urgent Care, Emergency Room, etc. Carry out activities and outings for the clients including opportunities for moderate exercise such as walks, hikes, etc.

Requirements:
-Must be over 18 years of age
-Valid Drivers License (Driving Record must be in good standing)
-High school diploma or equivalent required
-Sufficient reading, writing, comprehension, and communication skills in English to perform essential duties and responsibilities
-Ability to maintain confidentiality
-Ability to communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with others
-Ability to successfully pass all employee screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
-Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift.
