JOB DESCRIPTIONS
RAW BAR CHEFS will prepare the Raw Bar station with tasks including food and garnish preparation, the creation of sauces, washing seafood, shucking oysters and clams, and breaking down fish into our recipes. Raw Bar workers will also be responsible for food service execution in our outdoor kitchen including raw and cooked menu items from our Wood Fired Oven, as well as daily cleaning and sanitizing of our stations and areas. Inventory, ordering, management, and other tasks will be assigned based upon experience. The job is creative and engaging helping to fulfill our customers orders with a fun and exciting menu of fresh ingredients.
Our expectation is for our culinary team to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in our menu preparation and execution in a high-volume kitchen scene. Previous experience is a plus however we can train the right candidate.
Skill Requirements Cooking and time management skills are needed. Attention to detail is a must for all aspects of the position such as food presentation appearance and taste, service wait times and kitchen cleanliness. Organizational abilities and workflow management skills are also necessary to keep the food preparation process flowing. Guidelines governing the safe storage and handling of food in accordance with New York State and Cayuga County must be understood and fully adhered. Must be a team player.
Job Duties Assisting with food preparation for menu, cleaning and breakdown, fulfilling our opening and closing procedures. Must be willing to work weekends.
