Position Summary: As a Customer Service Representative at Lloyds Plumbing, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring excellent customer relations. You will handle incoming inquiries, schedule service appointments, provide service information, and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
Essential Functions:
- Customer Interaction: Receive and manage incoming calls from customers, entering relevant information into our system accurately.
- Service Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries regarding residential and commercial plumbing services, providing detailed information and recommendations as needed.
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently schedule service appointments and maintain the service schedule board in coordination with our dispatch team.
- After-Hours Support: Check and respond to voicemail messages from the after-hours service, scheduling non-emergency appointments as required.
- Customer Communication: Notify customers of technician arrival times and dispatch technicians accordingly to appointments.
- Issue Resolution: Expedite and coordinate with team members to resolve customer problems and address service issues promptly.
- Follow-Up: Follow up on service orders to ensure customer satisfaction, communicating any additional needs to the appropriate departments.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage company email correspondence related to service requests and general inquiries, ensuring timely responses and accurate scheduling.
- Record Management: Maintain organized records by creating and updating customer folders, filing paperwork, and updating information as necessary.
- Payment Processing: Process credit card transactions securely and accurately for services rendered.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with technicians via phone and text to coordinate service appointments and ensure smooth customer communication.
- Support and Flexibility: Assist other departments as needed and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the service industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
