QM Performance Improvement Coordinator

Job Summary
This position is responsible for projects assigned by the Performance Improvement Manager. Responsibilities include assisting with agency wide performance improvement. In conjunction with department leadership, selects and monitors relevant performance measures to ensure continuous quality improvement. Assists with accreditation and attends meetings when necessary at statewide provider sites. Collaborates with other departments or outside entities to ensure effectiveness of interventions. The Performance Improvement Coordinator supports the operation, functions, and objectives of the Standards and Compliance Department Quality Team. Must have the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data, create presentations, graphs, dashboards, etc. and successfully support other departments in their quest to do the same. Manages data collection, monitoring, and reporting of clinical performance data and other quality-related data. Assists in the coordination, integration, and implementation of the organization wide performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards. Conduct medical record review that may be used for: 1) supporting the organization’s performance improvement process by providing timely and accurate analysis of CBI healthcare data as well as other internal and external data sources; 2) identifying performance trends; and 3) prioritizing and recommending improvements through data-driven analysis.
Job duties and responsibilities are conducted in compliance with the Arizona Department of Health Services, the Code of Federal Regulations, Arizona
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a health care related field (e.g. public administration, public health, psychology) required. Master's Degree in a health care related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years working in the health care or behavioral Health field with a focus in continuous quality improvement.
- Familiarity with accreditation standards (CARF,NCQA) preferred.

Pay: $51,285.00 - $52,616.00 per year
