Position title: Full time caregiver position with benefits (30-40 hours/week)
Position location: Montgomery County
POSITION SUMMARY:
Specific duties:
*Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting)
*Mobility assistance (transferring from bed, commode)
*Medication reminders
*Meal preparation
*Light housekeeping
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
*Have a desire to help older adults remain active and engaged in their homes and community
*Be self–directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
*Have empathy for the needs of older adults
*Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
*Understands confidentiality procedures regarding the client
*Have good communication and customer service skills.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Be reliable and on time
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to travel to clients in Montgomery County
- Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities
- Must have a device that supports the most up to date version of iOS or Android to use our scheduling application
- CNA a plus, but not required
- Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours each week
- Must be able to work 8- 12 hour shifts when needed
- Pass a comprehensive drug test and background checks including PA State Police background check, national criminal background check, and national sex offender background check
