**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team and provide exceptional guest service in our upscale dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the culinary arts and delivering memorable dining experiences. If you have a knack for upselling, possess excellent guest service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. **Responsibilities:** - Provide top-notch guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and accommodating special requests - Enhance sales by upselling menu items and promoting daily specials to guests - Ensure precision in order taking and delivery to guarantee customer satisfaction - Process cash and credit card transactions using an advanced point-of-sale (POS) system - Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations - Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure prompt and accurate food delivery - Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold high standards **Requirements:** - Previous experience in the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory - Proficiency in guest services with a focus on creating exceptional dining experiences - Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and calculating bills - Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus - Strong communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail - Knowledge of fine dining etiquette, upselling techniques, and food handling practices *Note: This job description outlines primary responsibilities and requirements.
