Position Information:
Our Administrative/ Social Media Assistant, will work closely with our owners, graphic designer and marketing team to help implement social posts, sales promotions and various other marketing projects. The position requires knowledge of various social media and marketing platforms as well as willingness to learn some new marketing programs. The purpose of this position is to help us grow our online presence through successful marketing promotions via various online platforms. Daily monitoring of the social platforms will be part of the job responsibilities.
We are a small family owner company. We all wear many hats. Must be able to pitch in to help with special projects and other duties within the company. Must be able to lift a least 30 lbs.
Hours/Schedule:
- Our office is open Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (and Fridays during busy times)
- Most work days adhere to our office hours
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 year of experience with working with social media platforms
- Must have office and administrative experience
- Social Media Knowledge in Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest
- Various computer skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong computer skills are a must to succeed in this position
- Must be able to complete all tasks in a timely manner
- Attention-to-detail
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work alone or within a team and receive direction on projects
- Ability to work within tight time frames and meet strict deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
