Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator III oversees daily communication with customer, carriers and warehouse. As well as; ensures that all aspects of the supply chain are processed timely, documented accurately and communicated accordingly. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Works in conjunction with warehouse team on inventory reconciliation.
Job Responsibilities

Develops and updates daily performance shift goals to dock supervisors. Analyzes labor required to complete projected workload. Follows up on operational shortfalls.

Coordinates and monitors arrival of priority containers with dock supervisors regarding priority containers such as airfreight and special projects.

Maintains contact with carriers to collect data about daily performance.

Analyzes and cross-references reports while coordinating with customer service and other staff to ensure movements of customer goods are properly performed.

Prepares multiple monthly summary reports for facility and company leadership.

Responsible for managing customers inbound and outbound shipments

Prepare shipping documentation and related paperwork

Use Small Parcel and LTL Shipping management systems to timely ship parts/packages cost- effectively and accurately

Responsible for billing customers accurately and timely

Assist in investigating, evaluating, and resolving inventory discrepancies
Minimum Required Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent
-
Prior experience in transportation/logistics/warehouse operations
-
Experience with inventory software or other ERP system
-
Ability to quickly learn and navigate WMS (warehouse management system)

Strong Microsoft Excel and Word experience
-
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational/multitasking skills/attention to detail

Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
