Job Summary:
Midwest Alarm Company, Inc., a division of BCI Integrated Solutions, is seeking an experienced AV Project Manager to join our team. As a leading provider of electronic contracting, security systems, audio visual solutions, and fire alarm systems in the Midwest, we are dedicated to delivering top-notch services to a diverse range of clients, from homeowners to Fortune 500 companies.
Duties:
- Manage and oversee audio visual projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Develop project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling.
- Supervise installation teams to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to meet client expectations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for internal tracking and client updates.
- Collaborate with the central monitoring station team for integrated solutions.
Skills:
- Proficiency in loading code to BIAMP, Crestron, and QSC systems.
- Strong knowledge of rack construction, cable pathways preparation, and network cabling installation.
- Experience in termination testing and labeling of network, audio, and video cables.
- Ability to troubleshoot AV projects effectively using software troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, computer hardware, mechanical knowledge, and hand tools.
- Knowledge of E I (Electrical Instrumentation) principles and cabling standards.
- Prior experience in field service operations and managing AV installations.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with project managers, technicians, and clients effectively.
