Career Strategies is immediately hiring a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in the Nashville, TN area. If you meet the below requirements, apply now to be considered!
Apartment Maintenance Technician responsible for property maintenance: Curb appeal, service requests, apartment turnovers, preventative maintenance, and relations with associates, contractors, and team members. As a Maintenance Technician you will be working directly with the Maintenance Supervisor and the Property Manager.
A minimum of 6 months maintenance technician experience. EPA and CPO certification required.
- Maintain material and supply inventory.
- Plumbing: repair, replace or install faucets, pipes, toilets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, water-dispensing refrigerators, or washing machines (etc.)
- Electrical: repair, replace or install power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, etc.
- Drywall repair: fill holes caused by nails, minor dings from normal wear and tear most commonly performed between the time a tenant vacates a unit and a new renter assumes occupancy.
- Painting: minor touch-ups following damage repair to new coats of paint applied to unit walls in between residents.
- Appliance repair: repair, replace or install household appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, washers and dryers, etc.
- Preventative maintenance.
- Seasonal maintenance
- Access to personal hand tools + power drill
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Bilingual English/Spanish is a PLUS!
