We are seeking to hire a safe driver who can help manage our customers’ cars as well as our in-house fleet of rentals. Our ideal candidate for this role is a highly responsible car lover with a strong driving record, who will maintain a professional appearance, and a can-do attitude. We are looking for someone with a deep concern about their own vehicles as well as our customers’ vehicles. This is an entry level job which will include on-the-job training as well as opportunities for professional development and growth inside the company including promotions and raises.
Primarily responsibilities include:
· Maintaining the company in house fleet
· Managing parking space/parking lot organization
· Washing vehicles
· Detailing vehicles
· Shop towel laundry
· Shop maintenance
· Taking out trash
· Sweeping
· Assisting estimators with circling dents on vehicles

Job Description
The Automotive Porter is responsible for the cleaning, maintaining, moving, and parking vehicles in the shop parking lot to accommodate the needs of technicians, customers, and other visitors. Responsibilities include interior cleaning, exterior washing, and organizational tasks like checking cars in and out. Porter may conduct light vehicle maintenance for in house rental fleet, such as checking oil or topping off fluids, and fueling vehicles. Automotive porters may collect cars for service from customers and deliver finished cars to customers and ensure vehicles are in tip-top shape for handing off the keys. Other routine responsibilities include keeping tabs on cars’ locations on the lot and ensuring spaces are neat and clean by picking up litter, etc. They are responsible for maintaining the loaner fleet, ensuring that the Company Fleet Landing Page always stays up to date. Sweeping and maintaining the shop. They will learn how to assist estimators in circling dents on vehicles. This job does require spending a lot of time outside in the elements.
In addition to driving, this role’s physical requirements include vision, bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, walking and other potentially strenuous activity such as moving equipment that could weigh as much as 50lbs.
You must have a valid driver's license and strong driving record.
