Position: School Engagement Coordinator
School Year: For Immediate Start
Purpose: This position will be responsible for planning and coordinating all school events for Caritas Grammar School and Upper School. Additionally, this role will establish and execute a successful marketing and communication strategy, including social media, website, digital and print collateral, and email marketing, with the goal of increasing parent and community engagement and support.

Spiritual Leadership
- Consistently exhibit spiritual maturity and be a role model of Christian love, faith, truthfulness, and virtue, both on the school campus and in your personal life.
- Demonstrate the love of Christ in all relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that your life example continually demonstrates how your Christian faith integrates with your professional experience and all other aspects of your life.
Event Planning & Coordination
- Provide event planning and logistical support to Grammar School and Upper School for all schooL-related events and functions, such as open houses, fundraising events, academic events/concerts, picture day, community engagement events, and other events as scheduled.
- Recruit volunteers to serve on event teams and provide direction and support to events teams.
- Seek opportunities to increase community engagement to support the mission of Caritas through Spirit Nights or other community-based events.
Parent Volunteer Coordination
- Increase parent involvement in the school by working closely with all school, parent and community stakeholders.
- Recruit community volunteers to serve the needs of Caritas Academy in a way that provides an engaging and enriching experience.
- Coordinate activities of parent volunteers; including volunteer recruitment, training and assigning tasks.
Marketing & Communications
- Create, implement and maintain a marketing and communication strategy and plan that effectively communicates the vision and mission of Caritas Academy.
- Market and promote all school-related activities and events through appropriate channels.
- Create and implement an email marketing strategy to effectively communicate school news and activities.
- Design and draft the monthly school newsletter, including collaborating with various school leaders to obtain meaningful content to include in the newsletter.
- Assist with creating and designing digital and print marketing collateral to increase enrollment and to be used for capital fundraising initiatives.
Social Media & Website Design
- Create, implement and maintain a social media strategy that increases Caritas’ social media presence and follower engagement.
- Maintain regular communications via social media channels by sharing relevant content including school events, activities, and other meaningful Classical Christian Educational content that enriches our school and community.
- Create and maintain website content.
Campus Coordination
- Required to have prompt, regular attendance on campus during school hours; and as needed for special events and school functions.
- Serve as liaison between parent volunteers and community partners and Caritas Admin Office.
- Serve as primary contact for coordinating after school clubs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Be in agreement with and willing to uphold the Caritas Academy Mission and Statement of Faith.
- Be active in a local church, with a substantial record of service and leadership in the body of Christ.
- Live a Christian lifestyle which demonstrates a Christian worldview in all aspects of life.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Experience in marketing and communications and event planning is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Passion and deep alignment with Caritas Academy’s mission and the Classical Christian Education model.
- Enthusiasm to assist Caritas Christian Classical Academy in becoming a nationally regarded K-12 classical school and servingas a local leader in K-12 Classical Christian Education.
- Strong interpersonal skills and capacity to work well with staff, students, families, community members, and externalstakeholders.
- Communicates information and ideas clearly, and concisely, in writing; reads and understands information presented inwriting.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced school office environment, with evolving needs and frequent interruptions.
- High level of integrity and proven track record of being reliable and accountable.
- Strong attention to detail and follow through, proactive and creative problem-solver.
- Ability to implement multiple projects at varying levels of progress simultaneously, and requires little supervision.
- Organized planner and project manager with proven ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize effectively, and deliver for multiple stakeholders on deliverables and deadlines.

- First Aid/CPR Certification
- AZ Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
