Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the flooring or construction industry, and will be adept at using software to create and present proposals and floor plans. This role requires a strong ability to build relationships, understand client needs, and close sales effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
· Identify and target potential clients in the residential and commercial sectors.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
· Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand client needs and preferences.
Proposal and Floor Plan Development:
· Use company software to create detailed and accurate proposals and floor plans tailored to client requirements.
· Present proposals and floor plans to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
· Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
· Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
· Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Work closely with the production, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
· Communicate client feedback and project requirements to the relevant teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Reporting and Documentation:
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress using CRM software - Salesforce
· Prepare regular sales reports for management review.
Qualifications:
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with more than 3 years of experience are exempt of this requirement.
Experience:
· Minimum of 2-3 years of minimum experience in a sales role, preferably in the flooring, construction, or related industries.
· Experience with proposal and floor plan software is highly desirable.
· In Home sales experience is a Plus.
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
· Ability to quickly learn and utilize company-specific software for proposals and floor plans.
Soft Skills:
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
· High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
