MEDICAL CALL CENTER SUPERVISOR

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Doctoroo is seeking an energetic, experienced and reliable professional to join our team as a Medical Call Center Supervisor for immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our Center Manager with leading and managing a team of 10-15 highly motivated medical receptionists.
As a Medical Call Center Supervisor, you get to support team members with obtaining, maintaining, and enhancing their skills and training needed to provide excellent service to Doctoroo patients. You will support staff development by demonstrating compassion, integrity, and teamwork. The Supervisor ensures that best Doctoroo practices are followed which includes, but is not limited to appointment scheduling, dispatching, messaging to providers, and other staff and quality measures with great customer services. The Supervisor oversees staff performance and addresses performance in coordination with the Center Manager.
The team member we are looking for should be flexible and bring a friendly and collaborate outlook to the office. They should be willing to switch gears quickly and effectively, and share Doctoroo’s passion for patient care and outstanding service. It is a prerequisite that the candidate has a background in medical workplaces and/or operations.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Experience managing diverse teams in diverse operations
- Proven experience in a medical office call center or administration role
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems, and other electronic systems and programs
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a supervisor or team leader
- Past experience of supervising a call center is not necessary, but a valuable bonus
- Relevant University or Associate Degree (preferred)
