Job Summary:
Seeking Medicare-credentialed mid-level practitioners to provide specialized care to residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities, focusing on the replacement of G-Tubes. Compensation for this role is based on the number of G-Tubes replaced and it's a contract job that requires traveling to these facilities to provide care.

Responsibilities:
- G-Tube Replacement: Perform safe and efficient G-Tube replacements following best practices and clinical guidelines.
- Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health and G-Tube-related conditions to determine the need for replacement.
- Patient Education: Educate patients, their families, and facility staff on G-tube care, maintenance, and potential complications.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including registered nurses, physicians, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting each procedure, assessment, and intervention.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques during G-Tube replacements to prevent infection.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies related to G-Tubes, such as dislodgement or blockage, and take appropriate actions.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment and supplies used for G-Tube replacements are well-maintained, sterile, and readily available.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
- Live in the Greater Los Angeles area.
- Have NPs or PAs CA licnesne
- Medicare-credentialed
- Willing to travel to these facilities
Compensation:
Excellent pay based on number of Tubes replaced plus the mileage
