The Niwas Inn is currently hiring! We are located across from the Emerald Queen Casino.
The guest service agent is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for creating an outstanding first impression. He/She is responsible for registering guests as well as room assignment and key control. Any hired individual(s) will be expected to comply with our policies and enforce them, involving a supervisor when necessary. Essential Job functions include:
*Checking guests in and out accurately, ensuring proper credit is obtained.
*Notating any special requests and fulfilling them to the best of our ability.
*Handle credit cards and cash according to policy and procedure, maintaining accuracy of the house bank.
*Communicate all pertinent information to the Management team and Supervisors.
*Answer phone calls in a professional manner assisting with any and all inquiries, politely transferring the caller to another department when necessary.
*Ability to act as a concierge, providing directions and area information to guests on a daily
Basis Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent One year of customer service experience preferred. Please email your resume if you are interested in any of the positions we have available!
