Retail Packaging Project Manager
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Retail Packing Project Manager at our innovative logistics company with our Impak division. The Project Manager will oversee the packaging process, coordinate with various teams, and optimize procedures to enhance overall efficiency.
An adaptable and well-organized project manager is needed to round out the Impak division. This individual will have strong analytical and organizational skills, a willingness to learn, be a team player and function well in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule: M-F 8:00-5:00
Essential Functions:
● Representing the organization in a positive and professional manner during business and vendor-client interactions.
● Supporting the sales force and project management team; becoming a trusted, invaluable link to ensuring a sale translates to an on-time delivery, which translates to a re-order.
● Reviewing and collaborating with Sr. PM Lead, sales team and designers on project scope and details and be able to articulate project specific information accurately to the factories.
● Desire to learn the packaging industry, gaining a deep understanding on product types, manufacturing processes, with the ability to work with the appropriate factories to bid on projects and large packaging programs.
● Gain experience working with both domestic factories and international factory partners based in Asia Pacific, EMEA, Mexico, South America and the US.
● Sending quote requests to factories detailing project specifications, timeline requirements and financial budgets/target price points.
● Eventually will be managing projects from start to finish, processing all associated documents including cost analysis worksheets, order confirmations, proof approvals, purchase orders, packing lists and shipping documents, invoices, and profitability reports.
● Able to maintain project status and production timelines.
● Providing regular recaps and status updates to salesperson on each project.
● Work alongside Sr. PM Lead to manage and organize all pre-order, pre-production, production and marketing samples. Inclusive of taking pictures of samples, communicating tracking updates, and overseeing (labeling/organizing/sending) any sample needs within the office.
● Working with internal Logistics/Compliance teams members and international forwarders, as well as domestic warehouse and transportation partners.
● Analyzing logistics for each project to determine best freight options based on consolidation of products and potential freight efficiencies.
● Becoming proficient with SAP Order, Purchasing, Inventory and Accounting module, along with Impak’s Project Management System, Monday.
● The ability to work quickly and accurately with numbers and have a proficiency developing spreadsheets is a must.

Education and Experience:
● Degree in Business, Communication, Merchandising or related field
● 2-3 years of experience in printing or packaging preferred
Physical Requirements:
· Potential to be able to work from home up to 2 days a week after probationary period.
● Prolonged periods of sitting as a desk and working on a compute
● Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
