The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for greeting, checking in and out all the practice patients in an appropriate manner, scheduling patient appointments, answering phones, returning patient calls, calling patients with reminders, checking insurance eligibility, issuing insurance referrals, writing letters, collecting co-pays and all outstanding balances, filing and retrieving patients' medical records, sorting all mail and faxes, maintaining the reception area and patient waiting room as well as other reception area services as needed. The Medical Receptionist will work closely with the providers as well as the rest of the care team to ensure the patients receive optimal care.

Expected hours: 24 – 28 per week

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
