What you’ll do:
In this newly created role, under the direction of the Director, HRBP and Chief People Officer, you’ll plan, edit and write content for a variety of employee communications related to Human Resources, and will support Spire HR leadership and our practices to communicate consistent messages, establish a strong and positive Human Resources brand, and deliver key information to employee audiences across the Spire employee population. In addition, this role will serve as a key member of the HR Business Partner team by providing a high level of customer service support to our employee population.
Communications/ Engagement Responsibilities:
Serves as the central point of contact across HR business units to coordinate, consolidate, and optimize content design and delivery; enforces content governance and brand guidelines; ensures employee communications messages are consistent across all functions, mediums, and platforms.
Develops and drafts content to support a variety of internal communications for HR programs and channels, including e-mail communications, posters and posts on SharePoint considering the diversity of employee experiences across Spire’s workforce.
HR Associate Responsibilities:
Responds and redirects questions to the appropriate HR center of excellence (COE); back up support to HR mailbox, performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions via phone, email, and in a timely manner.
Supports the local HR Business Partners with any necessary administrative needs; ensures Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) and documentation are completed promptly, maintains employee files; upload electronic files from other sources, i.e. paper and electronic.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field strongly preferred
Superior written/editing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; proficiency with audio/video editing and graphic design (i.e. Canva, Adobe, graphic design programs and Microsoft SharePoint)
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Someone strong, creative, and collaborative, who can help build consensus across multiple stakeholders and bring people along through change.
Superior ability to works independently, exercise independent judgment, take initiative, and use discretion
Proven skill at working in a collaborative environment, including interpersonal skills to interact sensitively with colleagues from diverse social, cultural, and educational backgrounds.
