eventPower Is seeking an intelligent and passionate professional for AV and Production Management. The ideal candidate will have the technical ability to plan, set up, and run a successful event including leveraging in-house equipment/staff and supplementing with subcontracted labor and AV/Production companies. In addition to their technical skills, this individual will be able to work with the eventPower and client teams to effectively determine goals and requirements and communicate an effective end-to-end production solution based on client expectations and budgetary constraints.

Pre-Conference AV Responsibilities
- Work with eventPower Project Managers to determine conference AV requirements and best and cost-effective solutions based on show/client requirements and budget constraints.
- Leverage eventPower’s AV equipment and resources for shows and sessions within eventPower’s AV capabilities
- Coordinate RFP, Proposals, and Contracts to external AV providers for shows and sessions that are outside eventPower’s AV capabilities
- Work closely with on-site venue AV providers to coordinate rigging, load-in/out times, internet (LAN) drops and speeds.
- Create technical and seating room diagrams for meeting rooms
- Ensure eventPower’s AV equipment is in working order and make suggestions when new equipment is required
Onsite Technical Support
- Travel to 5-10 events per year (up to 30%) to support the technical aspects including AV, Registration, and other technical onsite requirements
- Work closely with the eventPower Project Manager and other team members to ensure a professional and high-quality event, supporting our client, speakers, attendees, and staff onsite
- Manage onsite AV subcontractors to set up and execute room setup
- Work with the eventPower team to setup and run multiple concurrent breakout sessions and small general session setups utilizing eventPower equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for printers, networking, and basic issues across all operating systems
- Ability to lift large cases when onsite, as well as organize and execute loadout of equipment
Other Technical Support
- Strong background in video editing and streaming. Fluency in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, OBS, Vimeo, YouTube
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience with technical troubleshooting, networking, IT, AV or similar technical skills
- Highly organized
- Strong, controlled, and polite communication skills
- Well developed knowledge and competency with various AV equipment, Windows, Microsoft Office, and Apple
- Fluency with the Google docs platform (90% of documents are shared within Google Docs)
- Ability to design, navigate, and leverage spreadsheets and databases to manage location, shipping, and tracking of equipment
- Associates degree or comparable industry training/certification (i.e. CTS).
