Seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative for a Global Logistics Company that offers sophisticated logistical solutions backed by the world's largest global logistics network.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter shipment orders into a proprietary Transportation Management System.
- Contact drivers for track and trace & GPS set-up.
- Update account managers on any issues that arise and help create and execute solutions.
- Request & retrieve POD’s, backup paperwork, etc. from vendors.
- Call shippers and consignees to schedule pickup and delivery appointments.
- Maintain professional and courteous customer service relations with associates and carriers.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, carrier, and company information.
- Support management and staff in assigned project-based work.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in order entry, appointment scheduling, and tracking & tracing.
- Previous experience in the transportation industry is a plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Excellent phone and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with diverse personalities.
- Enthusiastic team player.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional computer skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
