Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities:
· Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders in pediatric patients.
· Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and individual needs.
· Provide therapy sessions using a variety of techniques and activities to engage children and promote progress.
· Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapy goals.
· Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and maximize outcomes.
· Educate and support families on strategies to facilitate communication and language development at home and in other settings.
· Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in pediatric speech therapy to continually enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards.
· Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to support interdisciplinary collaboration and professional growth.
· Uphold ethical and professional standards of practice, demonstrating empathy, patience, and compassion in all interactions with patients and their families.
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
· Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
· Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
· Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a clinical or school-based setting.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
· Creative and resourceful approach to therapy, with a focus on making sessions enjoyable and effective.
· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Thursday
Ability to commute/relocate: Mercer County and surrounding areas: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
