Campos EPC is seeking construction supervisors to support natural gas infrastructure construction projects located throughout New England. The position directly supports a key utility account’s +5-year capital delivery plan. The position requires the necessary experience to observe and verify natural gas pressure regulation station and pipeline construction methods and workmanship meet regulatory standards and exceed client expectations. The Construction Supervisor is to ensure all work will be completed according to applicable State and local code requirements, industry standard best practices, and, with emphasis to asset owner specifications, standards, and procedures. The construction supervisors to have current Northeast Gas Association gas operation 70 and 71 certificates (Or be able to obtain certifications)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities May Include:
· Enforces quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) for taking receipt of materials, construction and commissioning.
· Ensures all installation conforms with Codes, Client Standards, Engineering Drawings, and Industry Best-Practices.
· Communicates & Submits Daily Reporting to Project PM(s).
· Review Contractor & Subcontractor Timesheets.
· Oversee All Material Deliveries & Custody Transfer.
· Maintains and Submit Redlined As-Builts, Weld Maps, Torque Reports, & MTRs.
· Oversee & Inspect All Welding, Coating, & NDE Work.
· Oversee Contractor Unit Rate Tallies.
· Ensure Completion of Daily Work Permits.
· Manage/Document Operator Qualification (OQ) Coverage & Records.
· Oversees All Hydrotesting & Pneumatic Pressure Testing.
· Resolves Minor Field Discrepancies with Input from Client PM(s) & Other Stakeholders, As Required.
· Documents & Report Immediately to the Client PM(s) Any Safety Concerns & Significant constructability Issues.
· Verifies that all project construction activities conform to the safety guidelines set forth in the associated operating agreement.
· Produces incident reports after “near miss” incidents and incidents/accidents and submits those reports via e-mail to Eversource PM within 24 hours (unless otherwise stated).
· Conforms to all inspector requirements for construction work as specified.
· Submits a fully consolidated electronic job file upon the in-service date.
Requirements:
· Five (5) years of high-pressure gas transmission experience.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel specifically).
· Must have personal transportation vehicle, laptop, & cell phone.
Preferred:
· NACE (AMPP) CIP 1 or Higher.
· Continued Education Relevant to Business, Engineering, or Energy.
· AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
