Job Description: The Multi-Site Purchasing/Supply Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and standardizing inventory management across multiple healthcare facilities to support patient care and achieve organizational goals. This role involves developing and implementing consistent inventory plans, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and maintaining optimal stock levels. The manager will lead and support a team of site-specific inventory managers, coordinate procurement processes, and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective purchasing. Additionally, the manager will generate and analyze inventory reports to drive decision-making and provide regular updates to senior management. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential for this position.
Job Responsibilities:
· Overseeing enterprise inventory management
· Responsible for maintaining the enterprise inventory management plan in the interest of delivering safe patient care as directed by leadership.
· Responsible for the receipt and distribution of supply, floor stock, office and stock supplies and rental equipment
· Follows regulatory requirements and accreditation guidelines, to support safety and security procedures
· Work with material managers to ensure periodic physical inventories are being completed as assigned and according to identified schedules
· Keeps carts and shelves to standards: 6” from floor, 18” from ceiling.
· Monitors, tracks, returns outdated supplies to ensure that no outdated supply is issued.
· Ensure all receipts have purchase order numbers and are authorized.
· Checks all incoming shipments for damage.
· Follows major vendor contracts and policies from TriasMD to all site .
· Provides economic and conservative management of facility property.
· Ensures timely removal of soiled linen, and biohazardous and non-hazard waste throughout facility according to linen and waste management contracts
· Pulls and stocks supplies for main supply areas and facility departments
· Distributes "Special Order Items” throughout facility
· Responsible for the department’s accurate record keeping and reporting
· Keeps all departments informed of shortages, back-orders, re-calls and any supply issues affecting requests/needs
· Communicates to all vendors, sales reps and accounts as liaison for clinical Teammates
· Meets all established deadlines for the ordering, receipt, delivery and storage of supplies
· Checks and distributes all orders promptly and accurately
· Provides Administrator with data as requested
· Assists facility leaders to provide supplies and equipment as needed for patient care needs
· Assists the facility leaders to provide appropriate interventions related to patient and environmental safety issues.
· Attends 75% of unit-based staff meetings and demonstrates review of minutes for any meetings missed.
· Responsibly demonstrates the importance of continuing education to the performance of facility responsibilities and growth in profession.
· Upholds and practices the principles and policies according to the DISC Compliance program.
· Demonstrates the safe operation of equipment and machinery and follows procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation.
· Completes appropriate financial management responsibilities
· Provides input re: equipment needs/supply needs
· Completes patient charges in accordance with facility procedure
· Demonstrates sound cost containment techniques
· Participates in periodic inventory count as assigned by management
· MUST be able to lift 25lbs or more
Education Required:
· High School Diploma or GED
Experience Required:
· At least 3 years of materials management experience
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to anticipate the needs of the team and respond quickly and efficiently
· Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel
Experience Desired:
· Familiarity with IOSEnvi and/or other procurement software
· Prior experience supervising a small team preferred

Salary:
· $80,000.00 - $95,000.00, DOE
