A local, independently owned medical equipment provider offering a full range of respiratory equipment and accessories for the homecare patient to aid in a better quality of living. We are currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Associate to join our team in Alsip, IL.
The DME Customer Service Associate will ensure that new and current client relationships are nurtured while effectively, correctly and efficiently receiving and processing incoming orders. They will primarily work in the Supplies division and will have the opportunity to learn the various types of respiratory health equipment we provide.
Service Associate Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and monitor inbound fax work list to receive incoming orders from clients and referral sources in a timely and courteous manner.
- Enter New Clients into company database for assigned product groups. Also, call New Clients to take orders and verify information for assigned product groups.
- Enter, Print, Fax, & Log CMNs into the database for assigned product groups.
- Procure all documentation as it pertains to the clients & insurance requirements. Also, process orders as received for assigned area and set-up auto-replenishment templates as applicable.
- Verify insurance for clients as applicable Medicare, Medicaid (i.e., Public Aid, IHFS), BC/BS, and Private Insurance.
- Address clients’ and referral sources’ complaints, concerns, problems and requests. Follow-up on the procuring of required patient file documentation in a timely manner.
- Log all client complaints in the Complaint section of the patient notes in the company computer database.
Alternate Assignments (as assigned):
- Receive, process and maintain facility orders and delivery orders.
- Schedule and perform CPAP set-ups, fittings, and stock fittings.
- Scan and index files into the scanning database as needed.
- Set-up and/or Process automatically generated orders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
