Through the combination of in-person and telephone marketing and sales efforts, the Senior Living Counselor is responsible for generating and managing leads to qualify prospects and move them through the admission process for the purpose of achieving budgeted occupancy targets. Personally tour prospective residents and their family members through the community with the intent of matching resident needs to community offerings. With assistance, develop the community’s marketing, public relations and advertising programs to develop a growing base of referral sources, and to promote the programs provided by the community. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the community’s product and services to represent the community effectively and accurately to referral sources and prospects by spending the majority of the workweek marketing and selling outside the community.
Maintain a working knowledge of the local market trends and competitors to assist in development of sales and marketing strategies and action plans.
