Beck Construction & Excavation is seeking a Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver.
Summary:
The primary purpose of the position is to transport equipment and supplies from one location to another on company owned vehicles.

Essential Functions:
-
A CDL Truck Driver is a construction worker whose first priority should be safe operation and practices on and off job sites.
-
The truck driver is responsible to transport equipment and moving large amounts of rock, dirt, concrete, and other construction materials.

When not driving, truck drivers are required to remain on the job site and assist other crew members with tasks.

Ensure that all paperwork relating to the transaction of business transactions are completed accurately.

Communicate with management team on any issues or problems that may arise from the day-to-day operations.

Perform duties in a safe manner by adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
-
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with standard operating procedures and practices.

Perform all duties in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications:

Class A CDL
-
Medical Card
-
No restrictions on drivers license
-
Must be able to drive a manual truck
Expectations:
-
The CDL Driver is responsible to know, understand and oblige by all FMCSA rules and regulations.

The CDL Truck Driver is expected to maintain their vehicles and provide general maintenance as needed on their vehicle, for safe operations on the Highway and construction job-sites. This maintenance may include, but is not limited to, the following:

Accurate Daily Walk rounds each morning.

Changing Light bulbs.
-
Checking air pressures in truck and trailer(s).
-
Changing the oil and general greasing of the vehicle(s).

Keep the interior and exterior of the vehicle(s) clean of trash, debris, and mud.

Completing repair orders for any maintenance done to and/or parts purchased for the machinery.

The CDL Truck Driver is required to grease and wash their own truck.
