Front Office Rooms Controllers are primarily responsible for room inventory to maximize selling opportunities at the Front Office. This includes assigning room blocks for groups and guest preferences, and presenting the remaining opportunities to the Front Office Hosts for upsell opportunities.
Front Office Agents rely on the Rooms Control Clerk’s ability to manage the inventory and analyze reports. This role has a direct impact on guest fulfillment with room accommodations and preferences identified from their GEM notes. Front Office Rooms Control must also assist in the Front Office Operations including but not limited to: checking in guests, checking out guests, answering phones, monitoring Zingle messaging and HotSOS guest requests. Front Office Rooms Control is the perfect supervisory opportunity for a seasoned Front Office Host ready to advance their career into management.
