Hyatt Family Facilities is in search of a Regional Maintenance Director to oversee our Anacortes and Bellingham, WA locations. This multi-site role supports two skilled nursing facilities and two assisted living facilities.
The position reports to the Campus Director and offers maintenance expertise and support to the maintenance managers and teams at each site, encompassing facility knowledge, safety, and regulatory compliance.
The role involves planning and overseeing facility and equipment maintenance across all sites within the region, playing an integral part in the network executive team and providing management oversight to the Maintenance departments.
The director will be responsible for directing, controlling, and accounting for the safety and operations within the region, developing both long and short-term business strategies and operational plans, and managing their implementation.
In terms of Environment of Care and Facility compliance, the role includes overseeing operational activities, collaborating with leaders to develop monitoring procedures, implementing corrective measures, and establishing strategies to ensure a safe environment for staff, residents, and visitors.
Key responsibilities:

Leading and guiding to ensure a professional, safe, secure, and clean environment for optimal care delivery at all facilities within the region.

Overseeing facility and equipment maintenance for all sites in the region, including management oversight for all Maintenance departments.

Preparing and managing annual budgets, coordinating new construction and renovations, and overseeing the operation, security, maintenance, and repair of all facilities within the region.
Qualifications
Education

Building Construction or Facilities Operations or related field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through or a combination of education and professional experience
Experience
-
Facility management experience within the healthcare industry.

Successful oversight of multiple healthcare facilities.
Skills

Knowledge of facilities, safety and security codes, security applications, and current issues related to employee safety regulations as well as state and local regulatory agencies to ensure continued compliance as necessary.

Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be able to present data, plans, ideas, and information in an effective, organized and compelling manner in a variety of settings to diverse audiences.

Understanding of HIPPA and safety and security regulations as well as the ability to liaison with city, state, county and federal officials.
