Role Summary & Our A-Player Defined:
As the Bookkeeper/Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our office operations and financial management processes. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will handle various administrative tasks while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports to support decision-making processes.
- Office Management: Oversee office supplies, equipment maintenance, and general administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely payments and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- HR Support: Assist with HR-related tasks, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.
- Tax Compliance: Assist with tax preparation and compliance, including gathering necessary documentation and liaising with external tax professionals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or office assistant, preferably in a small to mid-sized company.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Google Drive.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Additional Details:
This is a full-time position based in our office in the Flathead Valley, Montana. This position is not eligible for a WFH or remote work.
The salary for this position starts at $22/hr, with opportunities for growth and advancement.
