Duties:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Coordinate and schedule inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Supervise construction crews, providing guidance and support as needed
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, construction estimating, quality control, and schematics
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage construction crews
- Solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools
