We are a private non-profit committed to doing all we can in the fight against poverty. Our legacy goes back to the 1960's and we manage over 70 programs designed to help those who need it most.
CAPBM is looking for professional, friendly, and reliable Volunteer Meals on Wheels Drivers who want to make a difference in the lives of older individuals who are hungry and isolated. As a driver, you will deliver mid-day meals to seniors to their homes. Volunteer Drivers are needed daily from 8:00am-1:00pm. No experience is necessary. Volunteers are needed in Concord, Suncook, Laconia, Alton, Bradford and Franklin NH. CAPBM is seeking volunteers who are willing to deliver daily meals and complete a wellness check to the homes of senior citizens and eligible adults in a friendly and timely manner.
You'll join a team of talented and passionate people who are motivated to make our community as strong and resilient as possible.
VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITES:

Picks up meals from the program site and if requested, assists in meal packing.

Delivers meals courteously and in a timely manner.

Reports safety, environmental or social service needs of the participants to supervisor.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
-
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Reliable source of transportation and vehicle insurance coverage.

Must be dependable with courteous demeanor.

Ability to organize efficient route plan and work under time constraints of hot food delivery.

Ability to physically lift coolers containing meals weighing up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and wash coolers.
License/Certification:

State of New Hampshire criminal record check and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services (BEAS) State Registry check.
