Boundless Behavioral LLC was founded in 2022 by Raven Rogers, M.Ed., BCBA, and Eric Rogers. The goal and reason for founding Boundless Behavioral is to focus on providing outstanding service to our clients, while also providing hands-on training and mentorship to our employees. Providing aba services is a very demanding role. We feel our most important asset are our RBTs because they are the frontline associates providing the day-to-day therapy. Job Details
- Title: Register Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Salary: $20 per hour
- Potential pay increases every 180 days
- Type: Part-time (15 - 25 hours per week)
- Education Level: High School Diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Job Description:
- What is an RBT? (Registered Behavior Technician) – An RBT is a paraprofessional who assists in delivering applied behavior analysis (aba) under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or an RBT supervisor. You will provide these services to kids who has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other disorders.
- How will I provide aba services in this role? – In this position, you will serve as an In-Home RBT, meaning you will provide therapy to clients in their home. A larger proportion of therapy sessions may take place after a child’s school hours, from 2pm – 7pm and/or dependent on the client’s availability.
- RBT qualifications, requirements, and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Must have high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in fields such as mental/behavioral health, social work, psychology, etc. preferred
- Have an RBT certification or be able to complete RBT 40-hour training prior to first day of work
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Can review and implement behavior plans, collect data, and complete daily progress notes (training will be provided)
- Complete any additional ongoing trainings required to maintain RBT certification
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to client’s home or community setting (including a valid driver’s license)
- The RBT’s role will require the individual to attend to a child’s needs and safety, and can sustain physical activity for extended periods of time
- RBTs must be able to do the following: occasional walking and running, standing, crouching, crawling, sitting, kneeling, reaching above the head, bending, pulling, and can carry up to 50 pounds.
