A Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company is looking for the talents of a AS400 EDI & RPG Specialist to work on our on-site facility in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Deep understanding of relational database
- In-depth understanding of EDI standards, such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT
- Experience working in an AS400 environment or IBMi
- Knowledge of EDI communications, TRUSTEDLINK, VANs, FTP, BIZCONNECT, SMTP.
- Experience creating EDI maps (X.12/EDIFACT), implementing EDI communications and developing interfaces between EDI tools and business systems.
- Proficient in EDI mapping and translation tools TrustedLink with EDI: 810, 850,844, 890, 849 and other EDI document format.
- Proficient in XML and SQL
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting and communication skills with user support
- At least 5+ years with AS400 EDI and programming languages, such as RPG and CL
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
