Central Florida’s Behavioral Health Network, Inc. (CFBHN) is one of the leading behavioral health managing entities in the state of Florida, covering 14 counties. Contracted with the Department of Children and Family, we provide oversight to providers in central Florida who serve in the mental health and substance use disorder field in many settings, including schools and community settings. The Senior Program Manager reports to the Vice President of Network Development and Clinical Services (NDCS) and plays an important role in the organization. Senior Program Manager assists the Vice President of NDCS with executing program initiatives required by contract or as part of managing entity development with attention to new initiatives and special projects. The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, a minimum of five years of program management experience, along with at least three years of supervisory experience. We are looking for someone with In-depth understanding of Florida public mental health/substance abuse system especially as it relates to children’s services, including treatment protocols and system of care principles and values; an in-depth knowledge of funder contractual requirements; and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, funders and providers. We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent project development skills, management skills, and team building skills and experience.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day program management activities; plan and direct work assignments to direct reports, serving as backup to the Vice President of NDCS when called up to do so
- Represent CFBHN at community stakeholder, funder and provider meetings as assigned
- Lead, mentor, train, evaluate and develop staff to effectively perform required duties related to functional responsibilities, as well as meet corporate goals and objectives; recruit and hire qualified staff as required
- Oversee the provision of programmatic technical assistance and training, both internal and external
- Assure compliance with contractual requirements, managing entity accreditation requirements, annual audit requirements and laws, regulations and rules that govern the provision of behavioral health services with Special Projects assigned.
- Provide employee supervision as defined by agency
- Able to develop, run and analyze reports/trends regarding programs, special programs and other areas assigned
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five years of program management experience
- Minimum three years supervisory experience, a plus
- Florida behavioral health license a plus (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW)
- In-depth understanding of Florida public mental health/substance abuse system, including treatment protocols and system of care principles and values, to assure contractual compliance
- In-depth knowledge of funder contractual requirements
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, funders and providers
- Ability to respond to work situations in a timely and effective manner
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Exceptional skills in project development, management and team building
- Ability to represent CFBHN well at funder, provider and community venues
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Above-average knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook
- Local travel required from time to time
