Lead Preschool Teacher Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons to stimulate and engage children
- Create a nurturing and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
- Maintain a clean and organized school facility
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Ensure the well-being and health of each child in your care
- Follow all school and DCFS policies and procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
