Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Therapist specializing in co-occurring disorders. Our integrative program is designed to heal and restore mental, physical, and emotional well-being through a holistic approach that addresses each client's unique background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Individual Therapy: Conduct individual therapy sessions within the first 48-72 hours of admission tailored to address each client's specific needs and goals, ensuring a personalized approach to their treatment.
- Group Therapy: Facilitate group therapy sessions that provide a supportive environment for clients to share experiences, learn from each other, and build community.
- Family Therapy: Engage in family therapy sessions to involve family members in the treatment process, addressing family dynamics, improving communication, and fostering a supportive home environment.
- Client Meetings: Schedule initial meetings with clients within 48-72 hours of intake, aiming for earlier meetings when possible.
- Calendar Management: Confirm all therapy appointments are recorded on your Google calendar.
- Utilization Review: Ensure all Utilization Review (UR) progress notes are completed by the next client's review date.
- Medication Compliance: Verify client medication compliance and conduct trauma assessments if extensive trauma is part of the client's history.
- Assessment Administration: Administer rating scales upon intake and monthly thereafter based on the client's diagnoses.
- Coordination: Coordinate with doctors and the Clinical Director to modify diagnosis codes as needed.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to ensure personalized and targeted treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Align therapeutic interventions with the client's diagnoses and adjust as necessary.
- Disorder Differentiation: Differentiate between Mental Health (MH) and developmental disorders.
- Comprehensive Assessments: Assess and address eating disorders, gambling addiction, sex addiction, and impulse control disorders; collaborate with case management if needed.
- Medication-Assisted Treatment Education: Discuss and educate clients on medication-assisted treatment and inquire about potential medication side effects.
- Treatment Plan Management: Ensure treatment plans are signed by the client and therapist and regularly updated with specific, relevant goals.
- Unique Approach for Repeat Clients: Address the unique approach for clients with significant treatment history
- Client Check-Ins: Inquire about clients' recent experiences with cravings, mental health symptoms, impulsive decisions, etc.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours weekly
- Thursday virtual
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday in person from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
