POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports production by solving manufacturing problems primarily in the production cells that manufacture product for the semiconductor equipment market. Collaborates with Application Engineers, Customers, and Production Associates to create sound production processes. This position serves as a Project Manager for bringing new jobs of significant size into production. Must have ability to manage projects, and
work with adhoc teams. Use CAD system, including modeling as needed to develop tools, equipment, and processes to improve the quality of the products and manufacturing efficiency of the processes. Applies Lean Manufacturing techniques in areas of responsibility. This job will be approximately 60% to 70% office and computer work and 30% to 40% in the production area,
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1) Reduce labor by implementing tooling or justifying capital equipment.
2) Establish stable processes that allow predictable labor and production output.
3) Develop tooling from basic to complex using SolidWorks or other software tools.
4) Eliminate waste in production processes.
5) Gather data from ERP system to justify projects.
6) Determine methods to automate processes and improve quality.
7) Work with Production, Technicians, and Designers to improve processes, develop new process, and document those processes.
8) Works with QA to establish test methods that verify the quality of production heaters.

Education
Bachelors on Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Experience using 3D CAD software like SolidWorks.
Experience
5 years’ experience.
Flexible scheduling
Proficient in MS Office
Prior experience with multiple mechanical systems and manufacturing environments
Programming experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
