Distinctive Dentistry on Maitland is a well-established private practice with service to our community for almost 50 years.
Our practice is comprised of long-term staff members, and we are ready to welcome a Dental Treatment Scheduling Coordinator to the team. We are encouraging individuals with previous dental or dental assisting experience to apply.
As a Dental Treatment Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for eloquently and professionally explaining restorative treatments to patients, follow "block" scheduling protocols for all doctors, manage each providers schedule, assist in the coordination of patient treatment between our office and that of specialists, follow-up on correspondence received from specialist between doctors/patients, communicate with doctors on a daily basis to discuss patient treatments or other concerns; just to name a few.

The selected team member must possess a professional appearance, demeanor, understand the field of dentistry, scheduling protocols, and have dental software knowledge.
You will receive coaching in the processes of our office expectations. Your training will include assisting in the check-in/out of patients, presentation, and explanation of dental treatment plans, as well as assisting in the scheduling of said treatments, understanding treatment time units, explaining insurance plans as it relates to dental treatments, and listening and answering patient's inquiries regarding their dental needs.
This is 36 hours a week position. M/T/TH 6:30AM to 3:00PM, Wed.- 6:30AM to 5PM, and Fri. 7:30AM to 12PM. 90-day probationary period, potential for bonuses, Winter Holiday Break, and many other perks!
Previous experience with dental software and working in dentistry is preferred. Punctually is extremely important as well as reliability.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
