Job Description of Medical Quality Assurance Specialist:
We are looking for a highly skilled Medical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at our medical manufacturing and distribution facility. This role involves collaborating with various internal teams to carry out essential manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for tasks such as testing, inspecting, and completing products, components, and finished goods by following established procedures. Additionally, you will manage the packing of finished goods as per the bill of materials and work closely with the QA team to identify, document, and address any quality concerns.
Key Responsibilities of Medical Quality Assurance Specialist:
- Apply your knowledge of operations principles to perform a variety of tasks, including:
- Inspecting medical lasers, devices, and related accessories
- Assembling and kitting medical lasers and other medical devices
- Processing manufacturing orders and conducting QA checks using an ERP system
- Working with QA to sample, investigate, and document issues
- Conduct rework, repairs, and quality tests on parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies
- Use software to collect and analyze operational data making necessary real-time product, instrument, or equipment adjustments
- Assist in tests and experiments as needed
- Operate and maintain equipment as required
- Comprehend and implement quality methodologies and SOPs
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace
- Develop processing schedules for related operations when necessary
- Collaborate with various departments and levels within the organization
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements of Medical Quality Assurance Specialist:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, or at least 4 years of production or testing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of production or testing experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
