Maintenance Mechanic A
POSITION SUMMARY
We seek a Maintenance Mechanic A (Electrical and Mechanical) due to growth in our Products Division and to support the site’s maintenance program. This position will work within the maintenance and engineering groups to complete preventative and corrective work orders, site safety improvements, equipment installations, facility repairs, and assist in storeroom tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Carry out the Company’s maintenance program; provide support and maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems.
2. Fabricate, install, diagnose, and repair electro-mechanical equipment.
3. Read & understand engineered drawings, sketches, schematics, and layouts.
4. Experienced in rigging, burning & welding.
5. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; particularly relating to LOTO, hot work, and confined space entry.
6. Operate & diagnose equipment including (but not limited to): AC Motors, DC Motors, Electrical Wiring up to 480V, Pumps, Valves, Gearboxes, Refrigeration Compressors, Cooling Towers, Evaporators, Air Compressors, Boilers, Mobile Equipment, and Hydraulic & Pneumatic equipment.
7. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies.

The Ideal Candidate
Desired Background
1. High School Diploma or GED required.
2. Associate’s Degree in Maintenance or related skills trades highly desirable.
3. At least 3-years of recent experience in a preventative maintenance and semi-automated manufacturing environment.

1. Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs with limited supervision.
2. Hands-on electro-mechanical & repair knowledge
3. Excellent problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to write and verbally communicate effectively.
5. Full time position working 5 days per week. Some weekend travel required.
