Repairs and maintains electrical equipment, machinery, and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.
- Troubleshoots machinery and equipment and diagnoses problems.
- Repairs defective machines and equipment by dismantling and installing new or repaired parts.
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Installs or repairs automated machinery and equipment.
- Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Assists in performing preventative maintenance and ensures that preventative maintenance schedules are being met.
- Assists in training production employees on proper maintenance procedures, including but not limited to, lockout-tagout.
- Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of facilities.
- Initiates purchase requests for parts and machines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
