**Job Overview:** We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. **Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and create innovative menu items - Supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks - Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies - Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations - Train and mentor kitchen employees on proper cooking techniques - Monitor food quality and presentation - Support the Head Chef in developing new recipes and menu concepts **Requirements:** - Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting - Strong knowledge of kitchen management and food handling procedures - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Excellent supervisory and leadership skills - Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus - Familiarity with dietary department operations is beneficial - Team management experience is preferred Join our team as a Sous Chef and showcase your culinary expertise while contributing to the success of our kitchen operations.
