We are a specialty practice looking for a medical assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Interact with referral doctor offices, attorneys and claims representatives
- Check in patients
- Update patient medical records with accurate and current information
- Schedule appointments and register patients
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity medical administrative support tasks
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately document patient information
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification preferred but experience in medical office
