We are looking for a full time RN MDS Coordinator to join our JAG Healthcare team! The RN MDS Coordinator will work alongside the nursing departments at both of our Marion, OH facilities to learn the residents and care routines of each home, attend care conferences, and be an active member of the care team at both facilities.
The two facilities you will be working with are:
- JAG Marion - 45 bed home that is a traditional style skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.
- JAG Harding - 50 bed home that is cognitive behaviors specific as well as a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.
Recognizing that there is much opportunity in our healthcare employment market for potential applicants, we are seeking RN MDS Coordinator candidates interested in employment stability, flexible scheduling and the desire to secure a long-term employment opportunity. Being smaller facilities there is balance in the workload and exceptional patient care ratios. Leadership staff are expected to lead by example and be team-oriented to ensure the highest level of quality care and service can be delivered to our residents.
Experience is not necessary, however applicants should have well developed communication skills and demonstrate professionalism in the workplace and good work ethic. We are seeking candidates that have a desire to inspire change and a focus on continuous quality improvement.
MDS Coordinator Qualifications:
- Nursing home experience (preferred but not required)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Full time position
- Must have working knowledge of the MDS 3.0 and RAI Manual
- Knowledge and Understanding of Quality Measures
- Exceptional professional integrity and quality care standards
- Team-Oriented with an strong focus on interdisciplinary collaboration
- Strong communication & clinical leadership skills
- Willingness and ability to work open nursing shifts as needed
