Job Description:
Center for Autism and Related Services (CARS) is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Behavior Therapists for a full-time position focused on Applied Behavior Analysis for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis and other developmental disorders within the school and home setting.
You will be working as a one on one with a student in an assigned K-12 School (up to 15 miles max from where you live) throughout the school-day.
Location: K-12 Schools throughout Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. We place you at a school up To 15 Miles Max from where you live. Must have reliable transportation to get your assigned school daily.
Hours: Your work hours depend on the school you are assigned.
Elementary Schools Typically: Monday-Friday 8am-2:30pm
Middle Schools Typically: Monday-Friday 8am-3:00pm
High Schools Typically: Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

Position Requirements:
· Must have a High School Diploma.
· Experience working with children in a school setting, 1:1 setting, or community locations preferred
· Experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities a plus.
· Analytical skills necessary in order to synthesize a variety of clinical and social data to determine appropriate treatment plan and monitor effectiveness of treatment programs.
· Must be able to work effectively as a team member, demonstrate flexibility and desire to learn new skills and improve professional qualifications.
· Reliable transportation to commuate to your assigned school site daily (up to 15 miles max from where you live)

Mandatory requirement: Full COVID vaccination as per school policy, for all personnel working at school sites.
Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 /hour or depending on education/experience
